AngryToy.com is a website that helps office people to relieve stress and vent their anger online. AngryToy.com is a free space that provides different and exciting functions to help users to relax. On this website, there is no complex content to make users confused. People would not like to use a website that they can't get easier to use when they have stress or anger. In the mini-game part, users conveniently and immediately vent anger by hitting a toy in various ways. Moreover, people can use this website for relaxing or venting anger anytime, even if they are working in their companies.
[ Concept ]
Nowadays, people always have a variety of pressures from their lives or work. There is often news that people commit suicide or hurt themselves because the anxiety or anger is overwhelming. Sometimes, I also have situations when the pressure is out of my control. People often find ideas about relieving stress on the Internet. But there is no website which supplies any tool or interactive function for users to learn how to relax their bodies, relieve pressure, and vent anger at the same time.
Before I started formulating the specifics of this project, I surveyed to get different opinions. People would like a website with suggestions and interactive functions to find what they need quickly. From the survey, I found that business people often experience many job-related demands and get stressed from their work. Also, they would like a website solution about releasing pressure and venting anger excitingly and conveniently. In this project, I constructed AngryToy.com and created an enjoyable mini-game using ActionScript and web technology to help vent anger for people.
